As the Traffic & Revenue Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead the preparation of traffic and revenue forecasts for new prospective projects and operational assets around the globe. You will oversee the team’s work to generate insights, synthesize analysis, and report traffic and revenue data to support and more deeply understand Cintra’s operational assets. You will also be responsible for leading joint projects with third parties, like research universities and consultants, and other Cintra teams.

Functions key to success: :
Traffic & Revenue Studies:

  • Lead the development of all Traffic & Revenue (T&R) forecasts, including those for unsolicited projects, competitive bids, and operational assets
  • Maintain an expert and updated expertise on T&R modeling techniques, especially discrete choice models, time series models, and linear regression
  • Manage and supervise the preparation of T&R studies prepared by external advisors
  • Optimize a potential project’s revenue stream through creative collaboration with the business development, design and legal teams
  • Present the findings of traffic and revenue studies for new projects to senior executives and to other departments
  • Participate in meetings with the grantor (i.e. government agency) to discuss and negotiate any project aspect affecting traffic and revenue forecasts such as data availability and tolling regime
  • Prepare and lead traffic and revenue related presentations to rating agencies and lenders during project financing phase

Supporting T&R at Cintra’s Concessions:

  • Develop and utilize models to forecast long-term traffic and revenue using historical data and econometric forecasts for existing North American assets and present findings to senior management
  • Supervise the preparation of detailed monthly reports summarizing traffic, revenue and economic conditions for the North American assets

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Manage the T&R Department workload to ensure accountability, reliability, and accuracy by delegating the necessary tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure department goals are met
  • Explore and devise new methodologies to improve traffic data collection, existing projects traffic data analysis, traffic and revenue forecasting techniques and reporting processes
  • Training and developing junior members of the team to fully develop their potential as traffic and revenue analysts and forecasters
  • Perform other job-related duties as needed

What you bring to the table: :
You have worked hard to achieve success in your educational career, now put it to use. If you have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field or a master’s degree in transportation as it is preferred, you are halfway there with the needed abilities for this position. Do you have at least 7-10 years of experience in traffic and revenue, forecasting and analysis, or preferably toll roads? If the answer is yes, you can check off another box.

  • Must be able to demonstrate computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point and other PC based programs
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis software, traffic modeling analysis software and database management software will be valuable for the position

Our working environment: :
Cintra wants to ensure that all employees are comfortable and able to work in the type of culture and environment we have built our business on. Our office is typically quiet with low noise levels; however, you will often hear employees laughing and talking amongst themselves. Effective communication will be key for this role and will require you to talk and hear others. You will probably spend a majority of your time sitting and/or walking around the office, whether to visit a co-worker or make it to a meeting on time and there may be occasional long hours to put in if you are diligently working to complete a project and finish a report. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus, as necessary to use a computer. There could be a time when you may need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, but not very often. Finally, there will be some travel that will be required.
