Position: Part-Time Human Resources Professional

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payments.
· Audit timekeeping records to support accurate payroll administration.
· Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing new hire paperwork and coordinating exit procedures.
· Maintain employee records, benefits administration, and assist with open enrollment periods.
· Manage and track employee benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
· Administering employee leave programs, including FMLA, sick leave, and vacation requests.
· Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll with professionalism and accuracy.
· Support compliance with employment laws by maintaining required documentation and assisting with audits.
· Organize and maintain digital and physical HR files in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
· Assist with maintaining documents such as employee handbooks, policy updates, and employment contracts.
Education, Training and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, contribute and interface with a multi-cultural labor force comprised of executive, non-exempt and production workers with administrative or generalist role.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, employment laws, and best practices.
- Proficiency in HR software, payroll and timekeeping systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws including FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and OSHA, at local, state, and federal levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with employees across all levels of the organization.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.62 - $30.47 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
