Position Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for programming, setting up and maintaining the set-ups for 5 Axis and vertical machining centers in the Milling department.

Position Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for programming, setting up and maintaining the set-ups for 5 Axis and vertical machining centers in the Milling department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produces programs for machines to run high volume and R&D orders
- Set-up and operation of machines when applicable
- Reads and interprets hard copies and/or computerized drawings and specifications for parts.
- Computes dimensions and tolerances. Uses geometric tolerances and interprets and applies those requirements to tooling and production parts.
- Inspects completed components using CMM.
- Troubleshoots quality problems by effectively utilizing process control and corrective actions.
- High School Diploma/GED
- 7 years of set-up and machining experience with vertical and 5-axis machines.
- 10 years of programming experience in milling manufacturing
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Tech School Desired
- CMM programming a plus
