Job Description

• Is a recognized technical expert in information technology systems relating to bank receivership, insurance and/or oversight.
• Functions as the highest-level contributor in at least one technical area.
• Performs as an information technology consultant in highly specialized subject areas related to bank receivership, insurance and/or oversight.
• Uses expertise in business management practices and industry requirements to provide highly technical and for specialized guidance concerning IT solutions to complex information processing problems related to the subject matter field.
• Performs analysis and studies, prepares reports and gives presentations; works independently.
• Assists in the development of strategies and plans for the successful completion of large complex projects.
• Develops plans, manages, and provides technical oversight for the entire systems development lifecycle including but not limited to, corporate strategic planning; analysis and design; software development; cost and schedule estimation; use of accepted software engineering practices; design techniques and tools; and review of legacy systems.
• Coordinates with the Program Manager to ensure problem resolution and customer satisfaction. Has extensive demonstrated industry exposure as evidenced by recent published articles, books, presentations at industry forums and participation in national and or international organizations that relate to the software engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• 10 years relevant experience.  
• Experienced with applied engineering methodologies and principles to conduct major enterprise-wide business process evaluation and modernization projects.
• Has direct specialized experience in the implementation of enterprise mission critical components that represent an investment of over $5 million within complex government/commercial organizations.         
• Strong understanding of Business Analysis and Management support frameworks
• Versatile team leader
• Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders of all levels.                        

Education

• Master’s degree in information technology or related field of study.

Clearance Requirement

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Current FDIC Public Trust highly preferred, other federal agency Public Trust desired
