Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of financial data. This role is crucial for supporting our financial operations and providing timely reports to management.
Duties
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare journal entries to record daily transactions accurately.
- Execute bank reconciliation to verify bank statements against company records.
- Oversee accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and payment scheduling.
- Maintain organized financial records using accounting software such as Quicken.
- Assist in preparing financial reports for management review and decision-making.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliation, payroll processing, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and accounts payable functions is essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Quicken, is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
