Position Type: Part Time
Salary Range: $11.00 Hourly
Description
Must be willing to work Evenings and Weekends.
Primary Job Functions:
- Daily cash reconciliations, reports, verification of credit card transactions, bank deposits, and mail runs
- Maintaining customer accounts (filing invoices, tickets, and statements, etc.)
- Accounts receivable payments
- Monitor accounts receivable for past due accounts, finance charge discrepancies, etc.
- Monitor profit and loss statements
- Monitor returned checks
- Send and receive faxes and emails
- Scanning documents
- Handle problems with customer accounts
- Keeping records on non-taxable sales and tax exempt cards, including scanning and filing
- Monitor office supplies
- Answer telephone
Secondary Job Functions:
- Wait on customers, work POS (point of sale), and customer returns
- Cleaning and stocking store and merchandise
- Check in freight, when needed
- Help with ordering, when needed
- Updating prices
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting experience is a plus
- Retail experience is a plus
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred
- Ability to operate office machines, computers, and Excel is a plus
- Ability to count change back
- Attention to detail, accuracy is key
- Professional telephone and communication skills
