Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in an upscale restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing an outstanding dining experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with customer inquiries.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns or requests promptly.
- Assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and accurate order fulfillment.
- Process payments efficiently while adhering to restaurant policies.
Skills
- Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing bills.
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred, particularly in fine dining establishments.
- Excellent sales skills to promote menu items effectively.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food preparation processes is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to assist guests in a friendly manner.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
