The City Attorney’s Office serves as the chief legal counsel to the Mayor, City Council, City Auditor, City Clerk and Recorder, and all City agencies. What We Offer
The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000/annually, based on experience and education. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but are not limited to:

Location
The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed. Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days.
What You’ll Do
We are currently seeking an Executive Support Business Operations Administrator to join the Finance and Business Operations team within the City Attorney’s Office. This position will be responsible for providing executive support to the Denver City Attorney, serve as the point of contact for the agency’s Fellowship and Internship programs, and assist the team with other tasks as needed.
Other responsibilities include:
- Provides primary executive support to the City Attorney, Deputy City Attorney, Director of Finance and Business Operations and Director of Finance on an as-needed basis
- Communicates with other executive assistants, professionals, private and public organizations, or others to acquire, verify, coordinate, and document meetings and events as necessary
- Manages distribution and assignment of incoming summons, claims, subpoenas and other correspondence
- Coordinates operational and/or administrative programs/functional activities, services, and serve as a liaison and central point of contact between various agency sections, other agencies, customers, vendors/suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Assists with management of the agency’s records management program, Denver Employee Contribution Campaign, agency’s Help Desk and various committees
- Coordinates agency-wide events and planning; assists with agency’s annual reports compilation and other programs as assigned
- Assists with responses to Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) requests and coordination of the CORA request response process
- Works with internal and external customers to assess needs, provide assistance and resolve problems
- Coordinates, implements, and monitors agency’s specific training activities for the program/functional areas of responsibilities, including conducting needs assessments, evaluating training needs and effectiveness, and participating in instruction
- Develops, writes, and maintains procedures and guidelines for areas of responsibility, prepares a variety of analytical and operational reports, correspondence, and other documentation and provides operational information and statistical data for management/departmental use
- Performs other duties as assigned

Required Minimum Qualifications
- Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of experience administering business operations or operational programs and/or assisting professional/management staff with administrative or operational functions.
- Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.
- Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
