Denver International Airport (DEN) Department of Concessions is currently seeking an energetic Small Business Development Administrator to join their team. This role will offer joint responsibilities in both DEN Concessions office administrative management as well as the direct management of DEN’s kiosk management program concessionaire. The job duties will span administrative support, small business development, concessions communication and project management.
In this role, we are looking for an organized and experienced team-player who can take initiative to execute short and long-term projects. The individual selected for this role will need to thrive in a dynamic environment and build strong working relationships with DEN staff and external partners.

Additionally, as a Small Business Development Administrator you will be expected to:
- Model DEN’s values and ethics on matters of equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility; team building and change management
- Support the implementation of the Concession Master Plan and Opportunities on the concourses to support the achievement of the overall airport operation objectives
- Act as the DEN Concessions administrative point of contact and Authorized Signatory for team security badges
- Manage the SVP of Concessions calendar to include logistic coordination and all associated tasks related to the full cycle of administrative duties related to scheduling meetings, coordinating catering, reserving conference room space, and organizing presentations and events
- Manage administrative tasks related to division expense contracts, associated purchase orders, invoices, and payment processing
- Assist DEN Concessions team members with ordering and purchasing supplies as well as travel requests, reservations, logistics and reimbursements
- Fully participate in the Request for Proposal and contract procurement process for both revenue and expenditure contracts
- Manage all aspects of the DEN kiosk management program, including small business relationship development, project management, and contractual and operational compliance
- Acts as a liaison between the DEN kiosk management operator and internal airport stakeholders for decisions regarding kiosk locations, marketing, and maintenance. Also serves as a liaison between the operator and DEN Finance.
- Maintain organized project folders and complete records in accordance with DEN Concessions standardized practices
- Develop, produce, and distribute the monthly DEN Concessions Newsletter
- Manage requests for information from individuals interested in opening concessions at DEN
- Maintain and update contact information for the DEN Concessions business development database utilizing SharePoint and MS Teams
- Prepare and present reports to leadership relating to areas of responsibility
- Other duties as assigned
We are looking for someone with some or all the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of related experience in a full-service professional role
- Prior experience with project management and executive level support including calendar management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Problem solving capabilities
- Advanced software proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Contract analysis experience
- Solid presentation skills including experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree in a related field based on a specific position(s).
- Experience Requirement: Five (5) years’ experience performing full performance professional level duties within a specialized, functional area. (This does not include clerical experience.)
- Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.
- Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
