The Office of the City Clerk is looking for candidates to fill four (4) vacant Council Committee Aide positions at Honolulu Hale. Council Committee Aides serve as principal clerical assistants to the council chair or chair of a standing committee of the City Council and plans, coordinates and performs all administrative and technical activities essential to the overall functions of the council or committee. This includes but is not limited to advising the council or committee chair on procedural matters; developing and finalizing meeting agendas; composing reports, letters, and memoranda; and organizing, disseminating, and maintaining council or committee documents.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
At the time of application, you must be a citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience demonstrating the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Five (5) years of secretarial or substantive clerical experience, two (2) of which shall have involved preparing for, recording and following through on the results of proceedings of meetings, conferences and hearings; or one year of work experience at the next lower level as an Assistant Council Committee Aide.
