Assists in planning, implementing, and coordinating the overall bus system, including the planning and coordination of new bus routes, modifications of existing bus routes, and the determination of the level and effectiveness of service; and performs other related duties as required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited college or university with major work in city planning, architecture, engineering, economics, sociology, public administration or a related field.

In order to receive credit for the education, a foreign credential evaluation (FCE) must be provided. We also reserve the right to request further information about your academic program, evidence of comparability, or an original transcript.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Three years of professional work experience in architecture, engineering or socio-economic research, including or supplemented by one year of professional work experience in transportation planning and/or engineering projects.
Having the required number of years of experience will not in itself be accepted as qualifying for the position. Your overall experience must have been of such scope, level and responsibility as to conclusively demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position.
LICENSE REQUIREMENT:
Possession of an appropriate valid Hawaii State driver's license, as required.
