POSITION SUMMARY
We’re looking for a strategic, results-driven Director of Business Development to lead growth efforts across the U.S. You’ll drive client acquisition, open new markets, and champion our integrated self-perform model to key decision-makers across industries.
This is a high-impact leadership role with visibility across the organization and direct influence on revenue growth.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and lead business development strategies to increase market share.
Identify new client segments, industry verticals, and geographies for expansion.
Promote City FM’s self-perform integrated service model to prospective clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level leaders and key stakeholders.
Lead the full sales cycle—from prospecting to contract negotiations and closing.
Collaborate with operations to ensure successful onboarding and service delivery.
Oversee customized proposals and presentations aligned to client needs.
Monitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging market opportunities.
Achieve revenue goals and track KPIs tied to pipeline and conversion metrics.
Negotiate favorable terms to establish long-term, profitable partnerships.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
7 years in business development, sales, or account management in FM or related industries.
Proven success winning large, complex, multi-million-dollar contracts.
Deep understanding of integrated FM services and self-perform models.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Experience leading or mentoring high-performing sales/business development teams.
Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred
A strong network in the FM, real estate, or construction sectors.
Experience with national or multi-site accounts.
Knowledge of energy management, sustainability, and emerging FM trends.
