Description: End-user support of IT hardware and software, including but not limited to workstations and workstation peripherals, servers, telecommunications hardware, surveillance equipment, printers, mobile devices, and audio-video equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely technical support (remote and in-person) while maintaining organization standards for customer service and professionalism
- Prioritize, document, and resolve support requests, enabling end-users to accomplish business tasks
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues on IT equipment and contact external vendors to coordinate support as required
- Configure and deploy new IT hardware
- Install and upgrade software, including operating systems and applications
- Assist in maintaining strict information security controls
- Other job duties as required
- IT-related professional certifications a plus
- Must be able to work heights using a portable ladder
- Occasional travel required
- Occasional on-call and holiday work required
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years relevant experience or equivalent education in an IT-related discipline
- Valid driver’s license
- Constant use of computer screens
- Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Long periods of typing and repetitive motion
- Close vision and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
