We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an enriching summer experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children of various ages. You will be responsible for leading activities, providing guidance, and ensuring the well-being of campers while fostering their personal growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with campers during daily activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
- Plan and lead a variety of camp activities, including arts and crafts, sports, games, and educational programs.
- Provide support to campers with special needs or behavioral challenges through effective behavior management techniques.
- Foster a positive camp culture by promoting teamwork, respect, and inclusivity among campers.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding camper progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with fellow counselors to create a cohesive team environment that enhances the overall camp experience.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized camp facility.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in settings such as tutoring, or classroom management is preferred.
- Experience in sports coaching or leading recreational activities is a plus.
- A passion for working outdoors and engaging children in meaningful experiences is essential.

Pay: $14.27 - $16.50 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
