The City of Beloit has an exciting employment opportunity in the Parks and Recreation Division of the Department of Public Works as the Recreation Coordinator. The Recreation Coordinator is responsible for developing, organizing, planning, and implementing assigned recreation and athletic programs. Additionally, assisting the Recreation Supervisor in the overall management of recreational facilities that support these programs, including but not limited to the Ice Arena, Municipal Pool, Rotary River Center, and Concession Operations at the Riverside Park Lagoon.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Parks and Recreation Administration or a related field.
- A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Certified Parks and Recreation Professional is preferred, or the ability to obtain certification within 1 year of employment.
- Certified in First Aid and CPR or ability to obtain certification within 1 year of employment.
- Other combinations of training and/or experience which can be demonstrated to result in the possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of this position will also be considered.
