The City of Blair is seeking reliable and proactive Water Treatment Plant Operators to join our team! With multiple openings available, this full-time position offers the chance to play a key role in ensuring clean, safe water for our growing community and bio-campus. If you enjoy hands-on technical work and solving challenges, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do :

Operate and maintain our state-of-the-art Water Treatment Plant, currently processing 20 million gallons daily and expanding to 27 million gallons.
Monitor and control plant systems, including SCADA, to manage equipment and processes.
Conduct water quality testing and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Perform maintenance on plant equipment, such as pumps and feeders, and support general facility upkeep.

What You Bring :

High School Diploma or GED (required).

One year of experience in maintenance or mechanical work (preferred).

Ability to obtain a Grade 4 Water Operator License within six months of hire (training provided).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

A team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn.
