Primary Objective
The City of Bloomington is seeking an individual to provide leadership and supervision to the operations team, which supports the operations of the Public Health Division, in order to fulfill the agency's mission to engage the community in promoting, protecting and improving the health of all.

Examples of Duties
Primary supervisor and leader of the operations team, which is comprised of the following program areas :
Insurance billing
Defines the level of expected performance
Oversees support, provides guidance and back up for the Advisory Board of Health secretary role
Serves as the Division point of contact on records retention and requests :
Acquires and maintains knowledge of the Minnesota Data Practices Act and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 regarding classification of data released; responsible for researching matters related to data practices and dissemination of information in coordination with the City Clerk
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

A detail-oriented approach to duties and projects is necessary
