Adding your resume and/or cover letter in lieu of the application may not be accepted as well.The City is looking for an outgoing and customer-service minded person with effective communication skills to be our next part-time Customer Service Specialist!What will you do in this position?Provide customer service, information and assistance to visitors and others having business with the City.Answer main city hall phone lines and direct calls to appropriate departments.Perform clerical and administrative tasks, including data entry, record keeping, basic accounting, invoice processing, document preparation and review, and file maintenance, in accordance with Department procedures and City policy.A successful candidate in this position will: Work together with the Bothell Community and Departments to cultivate strong and successful partnerships.Effectively evaluate and prioritize various tasks, projects, and demands.Openly receive new ideas and other perspectives.Ensure clear and efficient communication of information and ideas through diverse communication channels.Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to engage meaningfully, with an emphasis on empathy, humility, and patience.Proposed schedule for this position: Monday through Friday, from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm.
