BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Recreation Coordinator, the Mini Camp Coordinator will coordinate and manage all activities for the summer programs and events.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE18 years of age and a high school graduateCollege experience preferred but not necessaryPrior experience in supervising and training adultsPrior experience in working with elementary age schoolchildrenFirst Aid/CPR preferred but not required

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIESResponsible for coordinating, planning and scheduling all activities for the Summer ProgramsResponsible for supervising Recreation Leaders, Recreation Aides, students in workability programs and volunteersResponsible for collection and verification of time sheets of all employeesResponsible for issuing needed equipmentResponsible for maintenance and cleaning facilityResponsible for training of staffResponsible for reporting of items that need to be purchasedResponsible for handling and reporting discipline problems with staff and participantsEnforces rules OTHER DUTIES: Perform related duties as assigned
