Position Title: TPT Signal & Sign Laborer

Department: Traffic, Parking, and Transportation
Location: Signal and Sign Shops
Number of Open Positions: 2
Anticipated Start Date: June 2, 2025
End Date: August 8, 2025
Hours per Week: 35
Business/Work Hours: Varies - Typical shifts: 6:30 AM-2:30 PM or 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $12/hour

Responsibilities, Tasks, and Projects

• Assist with roadway markings and curb painting

• Support sign maintenance and traffic signal maintenance

• Participate in streetlighting projects and banner installations

• Assist with special events and other various field-related tasks

Candidate Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Possess a valid driver's license

• Able to lift 20-60 lbs

• Comfortable working at heights

• Physically capable of standing, kneeling, bending, climbing, twisting, and working from ladders

Dress Code

• Reflective vest or safety green shirt

• Blue jeans or shorts

• Sturdy work boots
