Join Our Dynamic Street Maintenance Team!Under the supervision of an Operations Supervisor or higher classified employee, you'll perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled maintenance work, operating a variety of equipment to ensure the construction, operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of our street systems. Your efforts will directly support the mission of our department and the quality of our community.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
What You’ll Do: Assist with repair and maintenance activities to provide top-quality streets and related structures.Respond to complaints and service requests regarding potholes, flooding, right-of-way issues, and more.Maintain public right-of-ways, including mowing.Communicate with residents and business owners about service and access disruptions.Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and tools, participating in snow and ice control during winter.Drive trucks of various sizes for loading, hauling, and unloading equipment, gravel, and sand.Take part in the annual leaf pickup program and maintain building/work areas.Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.Meet job safety requirements and demonstrate regular, predictable attendance.
