Head Park Attendant

The City of Danbury is now hiring a Head Park Attendant for the Summer 2025 season.

The Head Park Attendant oversees daily park operations, supervises park attendants, and ensures that all park facilities are well-maintained and operating efficiently. This role includes coordinating staff schedules, handling visitor concerns, enforcing park policies, and assisting with events and programs. The Head Park Attendant serves as the main point of contact for park attendants, providing guidance and support while working closely with park management to address any issues. This position requires cross-training in various areas of park operations, including the spray park and lakefront. Depending on staffing needs, the Head Park Attendant may be assigned to these areas to assist with safety monitoring, water-related activities, and guest services.

Leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication are essential for this position.
