Seasonal – Public Works Maintenance (Summer)
The City of DeKalb is currently looking to fill multiple positions working in our Public Works Department over the summer.
Duration: mid-May to mid-August (flexible on start and end date)
Responsibilities: Mowing and grounds maintenance of City property, painting, hydrant flushing, etc. Staff will be assigned to work in the Street or Utilities divisions within the Public Works Department. The Public Works Seasonal Maintenance is a temporary, full-time, non-exempt position that will work 40 hours per week over the summer.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Requirements: Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age at start of employment!
Starting Rate: $16.00 per hour
