EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this job you will: Provide high quality customer service and create a positive experience for guests and team membersSupervise Guest Relations crewmembers and team leadersFoster a culture of safety, fun, learning, growth-mindset, and teamworkAssist with pre-season staff trainings and weekly in-service trainingsAssist with staff scheduling, sub requests, and daily opening or closing dutiesMentor and coach staff who need additional training or behavior redirectionComplete mid/post season evaluations of Guest Relations staffFollow Cascade Bay policies and procedures Make decisions to reduce staff due to low attendance, weather, etc.Accurately report staff attendance and facility attendance, and maintain accurate inventory records of concessions and merchandise itemsAccurately count money drawers and receipts and maintain point-of-sale transaction recordsAssist in ordering concessions and merchandise itemsAct as a liaison between the facility and groups and/or birthday partiesPrioritize guest and staff safety, including maintaining OSHA and MDH safety standards Perform light maintenance and cleaning including, but not limited to event set-ups, trash removal, and cleaning floors, tables and equipment, and restocking inventory Participate in pre-season leadership trainings and planning, and meetings with other supervisory staffAssist with end-of-season duties and complete post-season reportsPerform other duties as assigned

Additional Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Completion of at least one year of college coursework or equivalent experienceExperience working with the public while supervising facilities, activities, and programs effectivelyPrevious work experience supervising employees and/or volunteersExperience working with cash registers, admissions, general merchandise, food preparation, and cash deposit proceduresCurrent Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid Certification or ability to acquire prior to start of the seasonAbility to lift and move 50 pounds Working Conditions: The work environment is both indoors and outdoors and can involve contact with variable weather. The employee will be required to work in all weather conditions experienced in Eagan during the months of May – September. Weather conditions encountered may include air temperatures from -30°F to 100°F, and heat indexes to 110°F, rain, snow, sleet, wind, etc. Work Hours: Flexible hours; 20-30 hours per week. Shifts may include early morning, daytime, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays. Positions available mid-May through early September.Located in the Twin Cities metro area, Eagan is home to about 68,000 people.
