- Greet patrons and provide excellent customer service while monitoring member scan in process and monitoring the lobby.
- Learn and gain proficiency of CivicRec software. CivicRec is the reservations and transaction tool. This includes processing memberships for patrons, beer permits, pool admission payments, and cashier duties.
- Register patrons for special interest classes (SIC), aquatics programs including lifeguarding classes, and recreation programs throughout the city.
- Answer phone calls and questions regarding facility and programming.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations.
- Guide rental visitors to the correct rental location within the facility.
- Follow safety and security procedures, including a detailed incident or accident report as needed.
- Communicate effectively, including written, with peers, manager on duty and other supervising staff.
- Adhere to dress code and uniform policy.
- Provide foot traffic control and bag checking for busy summer season and/or special events
- Other duties as assigned.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Ability to:
- Learn and follow Parks and Recreation policies/procedures and regulations.
- Learn and follow cashier processes. This includes processing payments for memberships, beer permits, and pool admission etc.
- Learn and gain proficiency of CivicRec software. CivicRec is the reservations and transaction tool used by the facility.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, in-person, verbally and in writing.
- Handle conflict and seek assistance for escalations as needed.
- Be punctual and responsible for completing work shifts as scheduled.
- Comfortably work independently or as part of a team.
