We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Network Support Technician. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in IT, with opportunities for growth within the organization.
- Provide first-tier support for network and desktop issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Assist users with network connectivity problems and other IT-related concerns.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
- Monitor and respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner.
- Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Participate in routine maintenance and upgrades of network systems.
- Assist in the setup of new workstations and network devices.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on complex problems.
- Education: Work requires knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature which may be obtained with a two-year associate degree, diploma or equivalent from a college, technical, business, vocational, or correspondence school. Appropriate certification may be awarded upon satisfactory completion of advanced study or training.
- Experience: Over three years up to and including five years.
- Licenses: Valid Texas Class C Driver’s.
- Certifications Required: A , Network , Server , Security , or ITIL certifications preferable. Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS clearance necessary to perform job duties.
- A basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
- Desire to learn and grow in the IT field; pursuing certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network ) is encouraged.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Salary : $47,476 - $73,840
