Job Overview :
The IT Field Service Specialist will lead the planning and onsite installation, repair, and support of the IT server, network and security systems, and low-voltage cabling. Engage with business stakeholders, vendors, and across multiple IT teams. They will establish, maintain, and retire IT facilities in the successful and on-time delivery to internal customers and projects. This position will be hybrid with travel to project locations.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities :
- Install and troubleshoot IT server, security and network systems and low-voltage and structured cabling.
- Assist in the configuration of network LAN / WAN and Infrastructure equipment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects and coordinate supporting activities across multiple teams.
- Understanding customer issues, determining root causes, researching solutions, and ensuring appropriate resolution is provided in timely manner.
- Perform maintenance related to IT facilities and networks across all company locations traveling across the United States and Canada.
- Maintain and complete accurate installation, inventory, and documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotation for network monitoring and escalations.
