Learn more Here Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Why You’ll Love Working With Us: Meaningful Impact: Your work ensures the seamless operation of critical city services.Skill Growth: Gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools like Infor and Kronos, while building your expertise in procurement, benefits, and administrative management.Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside supportive colleagues who value your contributions.Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a role that supports professional growth without sacrificing your personal priorities.About the Role: As an Administrative Specialist, you will: Oversee the Procurement Card Program: Reconcile monthly statements, verify charges, and approve payments for all equipment services staff members.Manage City Vehicle Title Work: Process and maintain all title documentation accurately and efficiently.Utilize Infor Software: Handle a range of transactions, including personnel matters, entering requisitions, processing invoices, and verifying receiving reports.Assist with Employee Benefits: Serve as the Benefits Assistant for the division, helping employees with forms and managing the Kronos timekeeping system.Communicate Updates: Distribute new information from the Human Resources Department and maintain accurate records for new hires.Provide Administrative Support: Manage mail processing, maintain records and filing systems, serve as the receptionist for in-person and phone inquiries, and direct visitors to appropriate staff or departments.Contribute to Budget Management: Enter annual budget data and assist in financial planning for the division.This position involves significant interaction with internal and external stakeholders and requires excellent communication and multitasking skills.What We’re Looking ForStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in software systems such as Infor and Kronos (or similar tools).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.This job is Non-Exempt and is subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Ready to Make a Difference?Take the next step in your career and join a team dedicated to operational excellence and community service.
