- Hourly Employment: Roster positions are paid hourly and do not include benefits such as medical, dental, or vision insurance, life insurance, paid leave, or paid holidays.
- Limited Hours: Roster employees may work up to, but no more than, 1,000 hours in a 12 month period.
- Pension System: Roster positions are not eligible for membership in the city’s pension system.

Brief Description of Work:
As a Park Attendant at Country Park, the following tasks are dependent upon facility location and are usual, however, other duties may be required and assigned: Opening and closing the facility. This includes bringing the facility to fully operational to shutting down operations for the day. Clean park facilities and buildings including shelters, restrooms, offices, parking lots and shop, disinfect sinks and toilets; sweep and mop floors; maintain inventory of cleaning supplies. Inspect parks and facilities for repair needs; review maintenance needs with an assigned supervisor. Explain and enforce park rules; patrol park, athletic facilities and report suspicious activities to supervisory staff or law enforcement personnel. Customer service. Assist in pedal boat operations. Varying work schedule and flexibility; holidays, weekends, afternoons/evenings and late-night work will be required to cover vacations and special events held in the park. Assist with parking and crowd control at concerts and special events. Collect user fees. Use various small equipment; which includes but is not limited to weed eating and blowing facility. Work requires maintaining physical condition for walking, kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time and requires climbing, stooping, crawling, lifting, and carrying moderated to heavy materials.
This job is Non-Exempt under FLSA policy.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License “OR” reliable means of transportation
- Customer Service Experience
- Previous janitorial experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience working with the public
- Experience working outdoors in adverse weather conditions
