Part-Time Hager House Museum Guide
$16 per hour
Employees receive 40 hours of Sick and Safe Leave.
The Part-Time Hager House Guide reports to the Recreation Manager. The Hager House Guide preserves and promotes the Jonathan Hager House and Museum. The position will research, archive, and interpret the Jonathan Hager House and Museum, its furnishings, the life of Jonathan Hager, and artifacts in the collection; maintain furnishings, gardens and immediate grounds; document, inventory, and preserve artifacts in the collection, care for all artifacts and antiques, and assist with the improvement of museum displays; act as a tour guide for scheduled tour groups and individual tours during normal business hours; help maintain records of all visitors and groups; collect fees and donations; assist with event planning, promotions, and special events, and development of seasonal programs. Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Experience in Museum Studies or related field.
License & Certification: Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record in accordance with the City’s vehicle operations policy.
