What are the responsibilities and job description for the CVB Convention Services Associate I (Part-Time) position at City of Irving?
Duties include serving as an ambassador of the ICVB and the City of the Irving to ensure positive guest experiences and representing the hospitality industry; providing varied convention and meeting services support for clients hosting conferences, meetings, seminars, sporting events, and expositions held at the Irving Convention Center (ICC), hotels, and other event facilities within Irving. Duties typically will require light physical activity such as lifting, carrying, walking and/or standing for long periods of time (with or without special accommodation). A high school diploma or equivalent with at least one year experience from positions in the hospitality, event or customer service industry required. Customer service skills are essential. Basic computer knowledge a plus. There are no regularly scheduled hours; will work on a sporadic as-needed basis only, including evening and weekend hours.
PAY GRADE HI50 / FULL PAY RANGE $15.84 - $22.36 PER HOUR
