Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work and related construction tasks. This role involves setting forms and providing related functions for various street related projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the construction of forms, setting grades, setting forms, and other related tasks in new street construction.
• Construct storm sewers, drainpipes, manhole and catch basins.
• Places and finishes concrete.
• Operates equipment, machinery, and tools such as jackhammers, rotary drills, cutting torches, concrete mixers, chain and concrete saws, etc.
• Drives dump truck and operates backhoe as needed.
• Spread sand and gravel and clears streets of ice and snow as needed. This may include nights, holidays and weekend shifts.
• Responsible for checking all fluid levels, hydraulic systems, and visual inspectin of all belts, hoses, tires, and pivot points of equipment and/or vehicles that the employee may be assigned.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
• Inspect finished work for quality assurance and compliance with project specifications.

Experience

• Proven experience in concrete finishing is required.
• Skill in setting forms and support work to concrete finishing.
• Proficient in using power tools related to concrete work, including mixers and pumps.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality work on all projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Must have Class A CDL or obtain one during initial 6 months of employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.44 per hour
