JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Services Bureau Commander, the Records Manager is accountable for directing, organizing, controlling, and planning all of the operations and functions of the Records Division and is responsible for the efficient and effective performance of the Assistant Records Manager, Records Technician II and Records Technician I positions assigned to his / her division. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm, is part of the UFPO Collective Bargaining Unit, and provides an excellent work life balance. The position is grade 16, salary dependent upon experience.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Thorough knowledge of the operations and functions of the Records Division, National Incident Reporting System (NIBRS), Law Enforcement Officers Killed and Assaulted (LEOKA)
- Must obtain certifications in State Police On-Line Telecommunications System (SPOTS) and National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS)
- Knowledge of Disciplinary System, Internal Investigation Procedures and Performance Evaluation System
- Working knowledge of the departmental rules, regulations and standard operating procedures
- Working knowledge of the Fair Labor Standards Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and other City, State and Federal laws pertaining to the storage and dissemination of public records, including Right to Know Law (RSA 91-A)
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel and Word
- Ability to communicate effective in oral and written form
- Training and experience in management and supervision skills
