Performs responsible semi-skilled work assisting with the operation of the Aquatic Center and Spray Park; does related work as required. Work is performed under regular supervision of the Facility Manager.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Greets guest; Collection of admission fees; operation of concession and ensures cleanliness of facility. (The following tasks are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work performed. The omission of specific duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position.) Accurately processes and tracks monetary transactions to ensure proper cash handling; Oversees the maintenance and cleanliness of Aquatic Center and Spray Park; Operates concessions; Monitors activities in Aquatic Center and Spray Park; Enforces rules and regulations, policies and procedures; Registers participants; Performs related tasks as required.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum age of 15. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Possession of First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Possession of an appropriate driver's license valid in the State of North Carolina preferred.CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS ARE REQUIRED ON FINAL INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CANDIDATE(S) APPLYING FOR THIS POSITION WITH THE CITY OF NEW BERN.THE CITY OF NEW BERN IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
