What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Lifeguard position at City of Northfield?
The City of Northfield is recruiting for Seasonal Head Lifeguards at Old Memorial Pool. This position is responsible for managing daily pool operations, including, but not limited to, supervising Lifeguard staff; maintaining the facility; planning and conducting in-service training for staff; and performing lifeguard duties.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Must be 16 years of age.
- Must have a minimum of one season, or six months of lifeguarding experience,
- Supervisory experience preferred;
- Completion of the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training (R-94), Water Safety Instructor, Head Lifeguard, Water Park Lifeguarding Module, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and Standard First Aid, or equivalent, is required.
- Ability to work early June to the end of August.
