The City of Pierz is urgently seeking a **Seasonal Full Time Public Works Employee** to perform a variety of maintenance tasks under the direction of the Public Works Director. This seasonal, full-time position offers a pay range of $20.00-$25.00 per hour.

Job Summary:

• Work from April 1 to October 31 for 32-40 hours per week.
• Fix and replace streetlights.
• Respond to residents' calls for City services.
• Perform street maintenance, including patching potholes and plowing snow.
• Mow city parks and assist with golf course maintenance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Considerable knowledge of tools and materials used in public works maintenance.
• Ability to operate equipment for snow removal and building maintenance.
• Effective communication skills with the public and city staff.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Driver’s License.
• Eighteen years of age or over.
• CDL preferred but not required.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

This role involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions, physical exertion, and the ability to lift over 60 pounds. Weekend work and extended hours during peak season may be required.
