Description

Provide excellent customer service to ice center concession patrons. Takes food order and prepares food. Stock concession supplies and food. Takes money and gives customer correct change back using point of sale system. Maintain concession area in a sanitary and organized manner following Minnesota Department of Health Guidelines and Policies.

Essential Functions

• Concession sales
• Take food order from customer and prepare food by following sanitary guidelines
• Receive money and make correct change for customer using point of sale system
• Complete necessary reports and duties
• Balance Point of Sale software with cash/credit card transactions
• Perform clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area including cleaning equipment and surrounding area
• Assist with Open Skate Sessions by selling passes and skate rentals
• Sanitize and clean open skate areas
• Monitor open skate activity to ensure guests are properly following open skate instructions that are posted
• Work assigned hours or find appropriate substitute
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be able to work evening and weekend hours, including holidays.
• Must have knowledge and skill in handling money, including making change.
• Friendly, honesty and trustworthy
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated
• Ability to communicate with the public
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time
