Position Details
As the Parks Maintenance Supervisor with the Rapid City Parks and Recreation Department, you will play an instrumental role in the stewardship and improvement of our city's parks, trails, recreation facilities, and urban forests. Leading a dedicated team of seasonal landscape workers, your mission will be to actively engage in and oversee the maintenance, beautification, and enhancement efforts that contribute significantly to the community's well-being.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain landscape beds
- Supervise crew of seasonal landscape workers
- Operate passenger van
- Identify common weeds
- Set and follow weekly schedules
- General garden knowledge preferred
- Other various tasks necessary to maintain the City landscapes.

Minimum Qualifications
