Position Details
As part of the Landscape Crew, you'll be playing a crucial role in the upkeep and enhancement of the gardens and green spaces throughout Rapid City. Your hands-on efforts will directly contribute to the nurturing of our green spaces, ensuring they remain welcoming and pristine sanctuaries for everyone in our community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transplanting seedlings.
- Flower garden maintenance, planting flowers in the garden, and rose pruning.
- Pulling weeds and pruning shrubs.
- Controlling litter.
- Fertilizing turf.
- Other various tasks necessary to maintain the City's landscapes.
Hours will vary between 24 to 40 per week. Scheduling depends on the time of year and weather conditions.

Minimum Qualifications
Age: 18 years or older.- Education/Experience: A basic understanding or skills in gardening or landscape maintenance.

- Physical Demands: This position is highly active and physical, requiring candidates to possess a good level of physical fitness and endurance. Employees must have the ability to maneuver and operate within various outdoor settings, adapting to the terrain and tasks at hand.
