DEFINITION: Positions works children and adults in a recreational setting.
REPORTS TO: Recreation Supervisor
- Maintain safe environment for programs and activities.
- Performing light maintenance and janitorial duties.
- Assist in planning and implementing activities.
- Must adhere to proper discipline procedures as stand in training and approved by the department.
- Assisting other staff members and other tasks that are assigned.
- Assisting recreation supervisors with rentals.
Must be 16 years old or have completed the 10th Grade
- Organizational skills and attention to details.
- General knowledge of recreational sports, parks, programs and services.
- Good leadership and initiation skills.
- Must attend all necessary trainings associated with recreation aide Position.
