DESCRIPTION OF WORK
DEFINITION: Positions works children and adults in a recreational setting.
REPORTS TO: Recreation Supervisor
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Maintain safe environment for programs and activities.
Performing light maintenance and janitorial duties.
Assist in planning and implementing activities.
Must adhere to proper discipline procedures as stand in training and approved by the department.
Assisting other staff members and other tasks that are assigned.
Assisting recreation supervisors with rentals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 16 years old or have completed the 10th Grade
Organizational skills and attention to details.
General knowledge of recreational sports, parks, programs and services.
Good leadership and initiation skills.
Must attend all necessary trainings associated with recreation aide Position.
