The Summer Student Internship Program with the City of Round Rock is designed to provide an on-the-job opportunity to gain "real world" work experience in a career-related professional workforce environment. This is an administrative internship program.

- Designs, creates, and produces graduation videos for the Round Rock Police Department's Junior Police Academy utilizing a combination of text with sounds, pictures, graphics and video clips.
- Films and photographs Junior Police Academy daily events and activities. This requires lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Makes suggestions for and takes group pictures.
- Takes pictures and videos of various activities as assigned.
- Communicates in a professional manner with staff and junior academy participants.
- Be enrolled full-time or a recent graduate of an accredited university or college
- Must be classified as an Undergraduate student and provide an unofficial transcript and resume.
- Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0
