The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting a reliable, self-motivated and customer-service driven individual to fill the position of Building Official. This position is responsible for administering the City’s Building Official duties to ensure the employment of adequate construction practices within the City. We are looking for someone with a broad knowledge of construction methods and materials, local and national building codes and practices. This position will include code interpretation, plan review, and field inspections. The hiring wage for this position is $85,555.76- $94,495.14 annually depending on experience. This is a fully benefited position including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, state pension benefits, paid time off and a wellness program.
