SALARY: $12.10 - per hour
POSITION SUMMARY: Performs clerical and cashier duties for the golf course
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Supervise golf course operations, including managing play, overseeing tee times, and ensuring customer
satisfaction on the course
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Administer golf course rules and policies as set forth by the City of South Bend
? Check in golfers, process payments, and log customers into the tee time system
? Manage tee time reservations professionally and accurately
? Advance customer relations by answering questions, resolving conflicts,
and creating a welcoming environment
? Open and close the golf course, ensuring the facility is secure
? Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked golf shop
? Maintain and organize the golf cart fleet, ensuring they are clean and operational
NON-ESSENTIAL/MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: ? Other duties as assigned
REQUISITE SKILLS:
? Basic knowledge of golf course operations, rules, and etiquette
? Experience handling transactions and maintaining accurate records
? Familiarity with credit card terminals and point-of-sale systems
? Basic math and computer skills
? Understanding of golf shop merchandise and sales
? Ability to adapt to changing demands
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:
? High School diploma or equivalent education preferred
? Customer service experience preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, REGISTRATION:
? Valid Indiana Driver?s License required.
EQUIPMENT:
Point-of-Sale, computer, printer, telephone, calculator, credit card machine, golf cart, golf cart chargers, and
portable radio.
