The Tukwila Community Center is seeking to hire a temporary seasonal Youth/Teen Summer Recreation Site Supervisor. The Youth/Teen Summer Recreation Site Supervisor will assist with implementation of community wide special events, assist with direct supervision of recreation leaders and volunteers related to special events as well as assist with event promotion and marketing.

The Tukwila Community Center boasts beautiful meeting rooms, classrooms, banquet facilities, and a commercial kitchen, which are available for rental. The center is in a peaceful setting along the Duwamish River. It hosts several activities and resources for seniors, adults, teens, and young children. This includes fitness, recreation and wellness programs, as well as a preschool.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safeguards program staff and participants and provides for a clean and safe working environment.
- Completes and maintains proper forms, reports and information for recreation staff.
- Enforces and assists staff in enforcing facility, equipment, and program rules and regulations, taking appropriate corrective action when necessary.
- Assist staff with planning, scheduling, and organizing of various programs, events and activities.
- Other duties may vary based on specific responsibilities for each position.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work with minimum or no supervision;
- Working knowledge of hazards and safety practices;
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing;
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with program staff, participants, volunteers, parents, and the general public;
- Physical ability sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position.
