The SWaM business office is dedicated to the growth and development of small, women, and minority-owned businesses. Our team is looking for an innovative person to fill the Account Clerk III position. In this role, you will perform duties such as:
- Review and process requisitions, bills, invoices, vouchers, and inter-departmental transfers.
- Maintain inventory and budget control records; review appraisal records and maintains land books; maintain revenue ledgers and accounts and prepares trial balances and monthly statement reports; and prepare and review financial and statistical reports, files, and records to ensure an accurate track of information.
- Responsible for meeting all departmental payroll deadlines and ensuring members are paid correctly.
- Process documents and key and review personnel, time, and leave actions into the City’s enterprise financial and human resources automated software application; and may handle the requisition process associated with advertising a vacant position and perform duties associated with new hire processing.
- Supervise and assist subordinate clerical employees.
- Furnish information to other city departments, vendors, and the general public.
- Perform other job duties requiring skills, knowledge and physical requirements as demanded by those duties described or less. Individual assignments will be determined by the supervisor based on then current workloads and department needs.
