The City of Virginia Beach Department of Human Services is seeking to hire a candidate with excellent organization and time management skills and experience using electronic healthcare records as an Administrative Assistant for Case Management in the Developmental Services Division.
Duties:
- Provide administrative support to program leadership, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and maintaining records.
- Coordinate communication between staff, clients, families, and external partners, ensuring timely dissemination of information.
- Process and track program expenses and invoices under the direction of management related to Pro Card purchases.
- Create/update forms and correspondence for use by unit staff.
- Troubleshoot daily issues that arise with equipment, reports, and office matters.
- Transcribe and distribute minutes for unit meetings weekly and monthly.
- Assist unit staff with computer-related issues.
- Assist with distributing monthly billing and productivity reports for the unit.
- Ensure that office supply inventory is replenished.
