What are the responsibilities and job description for the DISPATCH/JAILOR position at CITY OF WAGONER?
The Wagoner Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Dispatcher/Jailer. The qualified candidate must pass the OLETS certification test.
The shift available is a mix of nights, evenings and day shift in an emergency communications center. Dispatchers/Jailers must be available around the clock, weekends, holidays and may need to work other shifts, overtime or extra hours to cover high-volume incidents.
Computer skills, customer service skills & the ability to multi-task while responding to emergencies quickly and calmly are needed. Must be able to readily learn new systems and adapt to new technology as needed.
