What you’ll do - Key Responsibilities
- Perform upkeep & general maintenance of parks, green spaces, city building grounds, right of ways and business districts.
- Provide lawn care including mowing grass and planting trees
- Conduct sports field maintenance
- Monitor irrigation throughout parks and city buildings
- Physical labor, such as, facility maintenance, and ability to operate light equipment is required.
- Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs., and occasionally lift 100 lbs., is required.
Additionally, cross training in the area of horticulture and plant maintenance will be available.
You Have (Knowledge & Abilities):
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED, Associates, or higher degree preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years of related work experience
- Valid Missouri Class E Driver’s license with ability to obtain the required Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement within six months
- Must be able to pass a Pre-employment DOT Drug Screening
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered by the city.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,313.63 - $63,439.09 per year
