- Audit Officer Daily Activity Reports (ODAR) to ensure videos from officers' body worn cameras are properly downloaded and categorized
- Reads ordinances, statutes, laws, periodicals, professional studies and reports, guidelines and regulations, policies and procedures to obtain information as needed
- Summarizes information and prepares reports for Bureau Commanders related to BWC data and issues
- May use electronic spreadsheets for tracking and/or developing BWC information
- Confers with staff from other departments to determine appropriate application of policies and procedures in unusual situations
- Appears in court to present evidence and testify as required
- Completion of work assignments may require the operation of a vehicle

- Knowledge of video management and collection.
- Knowledge of basic methods and techniques used in trouble shooting computer applications and hardware problems.
- Knowledge of the assigned operating system, standard software applications, hardware, and related peripheral equipment
- Ability to use a computer to access, interpret, and record information
- Ability to access records in file cabinets, books and/or on microfilm
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates, employees of other departments, representatives of other organizations, and the public
- Must not be impaired from testifying credibly in a court of law or impaired from swearing to an affidavit.
- May require ability to move up to 25-lb. loads of records, generally contained in boxes or drawers
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
- An employee shall not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
- A Highschool diploma.
- Two years of experience in computer hardware/software and information systems/technology applications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need of a sponsorship.
- Associate degree in criminal justice, information technology.
- One year of experience in preparing and presenting reports related to video or data analysis.
- Knowledge of the Kansas Open Records Act (KORA), including the ability to apply KORA in managing public records requests, ensuring compliance with disclosure requirements, and protecting confidential or exempt information.
Offers of employment are contingent upon passing a pre-employment physical, which includes drug screening.
Salary : $19 - $22
